How the calculator picks a model
The CGF series spans eight tiers from 2,500 to 30,000 BPH at 500ml PET reference. Required line speed is your daily target divided by operating hours. Sustained running speed should fall inside the rated band, not at its ceiling, to leave room for changeovers, washdowns, and short stops.
If your output sits between two tiers, pick the higher tier when growth is planned within 18 months, or the lower tier when the line will run a single SKU at a steady cadence. The “neighbour” cards show both options side by side.
Bottle format affects rinser-filler-capper selection but not BPH directly at this scale (50-115 mm bottle diameter is supported across the range). 5-gallon lines use a CGF-derived configuration with different BPH math; treat the 5-gallon recommendation as a starting point and request a tailored layout.
Total power figures are nameplate values for the filler block only. Add water treatment, blow moulder, labeller, conveyors, and packing to size your facility electrical service. Footprint shown is the filler island; allow a 1.2 m operator aisle on three sides.
